Before your first session, please ensure that your insurance plan covers my services.
Does your plan include counselling/psychological services provided by a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor - Candidate (RTC-C), or a Registered Professional Counsellor - Candidate (RPC-C)?
Here are my credentials to use to verify coverage with your insurance provider.
Registered Professional Counsellor - Candidate (RPC-C) offering Clinical Counselling with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA) #4701 or;
Registered Therapeutic Counsellor - Candidate (RTC-C) offering Counselling Therapy with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT) #3186
I do not direct bill. This means that the client pays for their sessions and then submits their receipt to their provider for reimbursement.
While not guaranteed, many clients have received reimbursement from the following insurance companies:

GroupHEALTH
If your provider is listed above, this does not guarantee that your plan includes extended coverage for my services. Each individual policy varies in terms of counsellor credentials required. Please confirm directly with your provider if they will cover your sessions with my designations listed above.
